UNICEF Canada's advocacy programme, This Generation, works to secure, protect and advance the rights of children to ensure their best interests come first; invisible and excluded children are not forgotten and fewer children live below the standards set by human rights instruments. The advocacy team carries out this work by promoting public awareness, conducting and sharing research, informing public policy, tools and standards and promoting the participation of children and young people.
